MDS/MD MS are the post graduation Medical Course in India,The Duration of these Courses in 3 years and students persing these couses are often called Junior Residents in the clinical disciplines and Junior Demonstrators in Basic clinical disciplines by some of the top most Medical Institutions in India.

Direct admission in MDS Eligibility :-
The candidate must be an Indian National / Person of Indian Origin / Overseas Citizen of India Card holders possessing BDS degree from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India under the Dentists Act, 1948 and who has obtained provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils after passing the final BDS examination and has completed one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Internship in an approved/recognized Dental College shall be eligible.
However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March of the Next Coming Year Soon after the National Entrance test can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March of the Next Coming Year Soon after the National Entrance test or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March of the Next Coming Year Soon after the National Entrance test.
MDS Entrance Test (AIPGMEE) is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Science is the entrance exam for Direct admission in MDS .

MD MS
Direct admission in MD MS Eligibility :-
The candidate must have passed M.B.B.S. Examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained registration either from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or State Council after completion of one year rotating internship training.
The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or state Council can also appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal / Dean of the College regarding the likely date of completion of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.

MD – pre-clinical or clinical subject of a non-surgical nature ,
